Things I have discovered since I came to New Paltz:
-I did not bring as many clothes with me as I thought I was bringing. I brought like 1/100th of my wardrobe. I am taking a shitload of clothes back with me when I go home to visit.
-The boys will not give you the time of day.
-Do not attempt to talk to me or anyone in the morning at breakfast. People mainly stare into space.
-Wearing flipflops to class when it is pouring rain is not good
-I need a boyfriend. Like whoa.
-This school likes to give you free condoms.
-I need to get trashed one night. I keep hearing about all these people who are going out (here and at other schools) and getting trashed. I really want to.
-My friends are AMAZING. I love them here. I'm so glad I met them.
-This school has more problems than I thought it would. We've lost power 2 times on the entire campus, had a gas leak on Wednesday, and a water main break today.
Yeah. Just random things that I have been thinking about lately. I seriously need to go shopping when I go home. I want more clothing. Or to bring more back. I now realize I forgot a lot of things I should've brought with me. I should make a list and start for next year. Haha.
My first essay for my fig classes of History & Comp was due Friday. It was a bitch to write. I started Wednesday night and got a page and a half done. Then I was distracted and played a game in the lounge. I finished it this afternoon when I came back from work study and ran to eat lunch before comp. Thank god the dining hall is right next door. The essay wasnt the greatest. We were doing peer reviews in class so I am fixing it a lot this weekend. I also have to fix my Spanish essay and hand that in on Monday. Plus, do an entire unit left in the French workbook and the audio homework and study for that test and learn new vocab words. So much French homework. I feel like I will be in the library this weekend. My dorm room distracts me.
I had an invitation to try out for the freshman dance tomorrow or rather today. I was debating to go but I have so much work I dont want to go. I'm thinking of doing it another time. A girl I met on myspace that is in the NP dance association said she didnt do it her freshman year and she is thinking of trying out this year because apparently it isnt only for freshman. I need to get involved in more clubs. Maybe Lauren will come with me to the college democrats meeting on Wednesday night. I want to find out about the yoga club. And this girl Jennifer in my comp & history classes said that they have a yoga class or kickboxing and shit at the gym. I think I am going to look into that. I want to do something physical other than walking all over the campus and around town. But I must say, I will have killer legs by the time I leave here if it kills me. ;)
I started my weekend by watching Oprah. It was an episode about identical twins that wanted/went through sex change operations. This was really creepy. I laughed like hell when Oprah said "Men have this penis thing". Gotta love Oprah. I am SO MAD I can't watch it Monday. Why? Jennifer Aniston is going to be on it. I am going to call Laurie and see if she can tape it for me. I would love her forever and a day if she did.
Sarah knows the perfect birthday present for me because she told me at dinner tonight. I have a feeling it has to do something with Judiasim because she knows that I love Jewish things. I wonder what it is. I love the fact that my birthday is on a friday. I only have to sit through one class and the Professor is so crazy it'll be fun.
I got my itunes to work. Now if I could only figure out how to make a playlist to show other people on a website what my files are, I'd be a happy camper.
My keyboard is annoying me. Well, the keys. They look a little greasy somehow. I don't want them to look like that. What can I use to clean them?!
After dinner, I made Shannon upload my pictures to her computer so I could upload them! :) Here are some for now! More to come!

I freaking hate my job. Have I mentioned that lately? I need to quit because I can't deal with the stupid-ass customers that think I need an attitude adjustment when I was being very polite about the situation. Well screw them. I would give them the middle finger but then they'd probably just complain.
I hate being sick. My nose still isn't clearing up. Claritin hasn't worked and neither has this Tyneol cold pill. I think my body is playing tricks on me. And that's not cool.
I need to get my paycheck. I'm saving up my money. But soon it will deplete fast with Christmas coming. I can't wait to go to the mall and shop.
My mom thinks I can go up on a bus by myself to visit my godmom on February break but she doesnt trust me to go up to Brockport to visit Meg Leis? That is so screwed up. Maybe I can talk to Meg over thanksgiving break and go back with her one day and miss a day of school. I kinda feel bad because Brian gave me her number on Wednesday and it's now Sunday. :X

haha. bowling was quite interesting last night. i screwed it up for the part of not getting a lane till 9pm because when i called tuesday night, i forgot to ask if there were leagues there on wednesday nights. stupid me. so we basically sat in the fod area and tried to figure out what to do. we were going to see a movie but when we finally called the patchogue movie theater and got the movies & times, it was like 7:50. So we got food and pigged out. Than Alex, April, KT, Laura, Meg, Candace and me all went into the arcade and tried to get those stuffed animals from the machines with the claws. Lol. It's quite fun. With Laura saying "People die every year from shaking the machine!" or something to that effect when Alex, Candace and I were trying to shake the machine. Lol. Than Alex won this cute bear dressed in a pink sailor outfit. Than eventually KT won this ugly looking doll....which we have now offically made our bowling doll and will accompany us on any other further bowling adventures. april won the tiger! haha that was fun. and eventually our name was called to get the lane...we had put our name on a waiting list around 8:45. So by the time we got a lane, we only had time to play one game. Oh well. Next time we'll go, we...or should I say I...will make sure there are no leagues. Stupid people who play in bowling leagues. It's for old people who have no social lives. Haha. It was quite an interesting experience bowling. With laura trying all this weird bowling movies. I wish I had a video camera to film it! Than on the 10th frame when it was Laura's turn to bowl, Candace decided she wanted to throw a ball down the lane after Laura did. So Laura threw hers and than Candace threw hers and that thing that comes down to pick up the pins you didn't hit down came down before Candace's ball could get through so it was stuck in the gutter. Than I got two gutter balls so the ball was still stuck there by the time we were done. Lol. And than on the way out I was getting a soda from the machine and just pressed the vending button twice and it gave me two sodas. Haha. I gave one to Alex because I accidentally bit her head! Lol...I'm really sorry Alex! I didnt mean it. And it hurt. lol. it was quite an interesting night.
I was going to miss the ending of "The Bachelorette" which I got hooked on but I taped it. I was sooo sure she was going to chose Charlie but I had wanted her to chose Ryan, the hot looking firefighter who wrote poetry!! And the Charlie dude was like so confident walking towards Trista that he was gonna get chosen. And I just had the biggest laugh when he didnt. That made my day. Haha. Both of the dudes from "The Bachelor" broke up with the girls they chose. So I'm wondering how long this romance & the romance from "Joe Millionaire" will last. Haha. I just think reality TV is getting to be really weird now. Now they have a series called "Who Want To Marry My Mom?" and "Marry by America" and oh what the hell else are they going to think of?
I am proud of myself. I've been eating breakfast everyday this week. Which is a good thing considering I usually don't. :) Go me. And I got up to chapter 5 last night in "The Princess Bride." It's finally starting to get interesting. Chapter 5 is like 100 pages!! ARGH! Shoot me now. My plan is to finish it by Sunday. I can do it, I can do it. Haha. It's not due till friday...when we have the test... but if I finish it sunday, I can go over crap monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday. I need a good grade on this since I suck at book tests.

All About Weddings...
1.Have you ever thought about your wedding?: Yes. Ever hear that little girls dream of their weddings since their childhood? lol
2.Do you know what your dress will look like?: I don't have an exact picture of it but I want it to be with no long sleeves. I'd get annoyed with them. I either want a dress like my sister-in-law's wedding gown...tank style and had bead work on it but very simpe....or a dress with thin spaghetti straps. I want it to be simple, yet elegant!
3.Do you know where you wanna get married?: I always thought St.Lawerence Church but I'd actually like to get married on a beach. That would be pretty. Either or, I'll probably end up in St.Lawerence Church.
4. Big or Small Wedding?: probably in the middle. It depends upon how big my family is by then and how big my future husband's family is
5. Wedding Song?: Wow.. toughie...there are a lot of sweet ones...some old ones I'd consider would be "You Are So Beautiful"-Joe Crocker/"From This Moment On"-Shania Twain/"The Way You Look Tonight"-Frank Sinatra/"When A Man Loves A Woman"

Things I dislike about sophmore year already. And we've only had 5 days of school total this year...
-I sit behind a child with a bigass head in Spanish, whom I dearly hate.
-there are no really good people in my math class and I hate being called upon in that class becuz I hate math. The teacher in this class is too hyper but I think she told us why. Oh well.
-my social studies is boring. some of the people in it are nice, even tho i never talk to them, but im starting to dislike the fact im in honors.
-computers isn't that bad. so i don't really have a problem with it.
-french there are some annoying people in it. at least there are two friends in this class.
-english isn't that bad. it may once i see how mrs.taber grades essays. then i may begin to dislike her but oh well.
-gym is EHH because i dont like some of the people in my class. but it's gym, what the hell can ya do? i'll survive. :)
-bio is just BORING! with a friggin' capital B.
they give us way too much homework. they expect us to remember schist from lord knows when. i hope it will be better as the days go on.

Ok so last nite when going to the summerfest it poured. Blah. That ruined the night. So we all just walked back to Allie's house and sat there on her porch. So we decided to go back tonight since its all weekend. We decided to meet in front of the Zipper((a ride)). I got there and I saw no one so I just waited. Than Mary Clare showed up. Yah a person. Than we saw Bill and KT. Than we found Meg and Alex and Allie and Marissa. So we all just hung out and schist. They went on rides;I refused because of the last carnival where I like barfed 5 times. Later Ape came. Yah! Funness! We played some more schist, they went on rides, we just were chillen and schist. Alex and I played this game and she won this cute dog! And than Bill played it and won a Scooby-Doo. Than he went to the other booth of it((they had two booths of it)) and he won again. Eventually Alex and Meg left to go see 'Signs' and Mary Clare went to go meet her parents. So the rest of us walked into town to call parents to pick us up. And that was it. It was an interesting night.
Last night I must have gotten bitten by mosquitoes alot. Because on the back of my left leg theres this HUGE red spot and it like swelled and schist. I didn't itch/scratch it tho. And than there are two on my right leg! Ugh its friggin' pissing me off!! It looks like I'm being abused and I am not!!! Agh. Oh well.
